A Spot for The Future is proud to partner with the Appaloosa Horse Club to provide support to our youth members who are the future. This organization and subsequent scholarship awards demonstrate an investment in the future of the Appaloosa Horse Club, the future of the equine industry, and support youth through their transition to successful young adults and future industry leaders.

When youth become involved in the ApHC, they build a sense of community, learn essential life skills such as networking, public speaking, team work, time management, and countless others.

The founders and board of directors for A Spot For The Future, are passionate about providing financial support for our Appaloosa youth to pursue higher education through college, trade schools, or other eligible accredited sources of education. Supporting youth to achieve higher education, training, or career skills is critical to ensuring a stronger and brighter future for the Appaloosa Horse Club. and ensuring the Appaloosa remains, the Breed of Choice.

A Spot For The Future, was established as a 501(c)3 charitable organization, in late 2023 by a dedicated group of youth enthusiasts who recognized the future of the equine industry is in the hands, hearts, and minds of our youth. We are committed to the financial support of Appaloosa youth members wishing to pursue higher education through scholarships to incentivize participation at our youth world and regional shows which subsequently builds our Appaloosa community.
